    We hope 2022 has been much better for you then the 2 previous years have been.

    At Australia’s school of Stand up Comedy, we have had to cancel so many classes due to Govt shutdowns, our heads are still spinning. Unfortunately, govt lockdowns and restrictions have changed the way people are booking and even showing up for classes across the country.

    Several years ago, we use to have 1 out of every 15-20 students, pay and not show up for class now it’s 7-8 students out of 10 that pay and cancel or don’t show up. This leaves us with a lot of last minute cancellations of  guest instructors, conference rooms, hotel accommodations, flights etc etc.

    Due to this, we have had to adjust our booking policies to suit the new environment. We believe this new policy will benefit the students, the teachers, guest instructors and well as the venues where we conduct our graduation nights and training courses. Here’s how it works:

    A course date will be announced several months in advance on our website. You can find the latest course date at the top of this page.  This date will be announced but not confirmed until minimum student bookings are confirmed. Students will have 2 options to book a seat in that course.

     

    Option 1: (Pay no fee now):

    If interested in attending that course date, complete the waiting list form above with your details and click ‘Add me to the waiting list’. We will put your name on our expressed interest to attend list. No fees are required to be on this list.

    Once we reach our minimum student requirement, we will notify everyone on the expressed interest list that the listed course date will proceed. Those students on the “Expressed interest in attending” list will have 30 days to pay their $599.99 course booking fee.

    All booking fees will be refunded if the minimum student numbers aren’t met or the course isn’t held on the listed date. 

    Being on this list is not a guarantee you will have a seat in the course.

    If more students decide to pay early and we reach our maximum student ratio, those on this list will be notified all seats have been booked by early booking students and they (The pay no fee students) will be notified of the next listed date in their area.

     

    Option 2: (Pay Now and get an instant $100 discount):

    Note: All fees will be refunded if minimum amount of students to conduct class is not met and class is not held on listed date.

    To sum it all up… If the minimum amount of students now required to conduct a class, is not met, all students who have paid to attend the course will be refunded, however, if that number is met and when the class date is confirmed as going ahead, no refunds or transfers will be given for failure to show or change of mind.

    Students now have the option of signing up with no fees or signing up early and paying a discounted rate to attend the next listed course date. Note since we’re only taking a limited amount of students in each class, what ever number of seats that remain from those pre-paying in advance, will be offered to the (Pay no fee group first).

    We believe doing it this way, will save a lot of headaches and last minute cancellations across the country and all students will know our refund policy upfront. Easy.
